Synthetic Consumers
See how UK consumers read your idea before you spend on it.
Test a concept, pack, ad or landing page on a synthetic panel of UK consumer types. You get a verdict, where audiences split and the one assumption most likely to sink it, in minutes rather than weeks.
5 free tests on the full panel. No card needed.
See it in action. What do you do?
Check the creative before the budget goes behind it. Every ad gets a one-second glance first, the way people really scroll, then a considered look. You see who stopped, who didn't, and what to change before the next version.

QuietSpace: find a quiet workspace easily
Supports funding on the Instagram feed for awareness, once the emotional pull is stronger.
What was tested
A static Instagram ad for QuietSpace, a made-up app for booking quiet, private workspaces by the hour. This version was revised to evoke the relief of finding somewhere quiet to work.

Where audiences split
The Comfortable-But-Cautious Retiree scrolled past at a glance. The image didn't connect with their life stage, and nothing distinctive gave them a reason to stop.
Riskiest assumption
That a static image can carry the promise of a quiet workspace in a fast-scrolling feed.
What to test next
EMOTIONThe Retiree found the image calming but not engaging enough to stop.BRANDSeveral audiences said it could belong to any brand.Specific next tests, each tied to what the panel said.
In their own words
Finding a quiet spot in London is like gold dust, so this is a game changer.
The idea of a quiet space is lovely, but I need more than just a nice image to convince me. Perhaps some imagery of the actual spaces or a bit more about why this is better than just staying at home would help.

Finding a quiet spot to work without distractions sounds perfect, especially when juggling everything else.
About this read
Real output from a test we ran on our own made-up product. Basis: static image. Synthetic panel of UK audience types built from published research: directional signal, not ground truth. Findings are summarised from the full report; quotes are verbatim. Some audiences' quotes are omitted here for space.
What actually is this?
We build detailed, research-backed profiles of different kinds of UK consumer: a cautious retired couple, a Gen Z shopper who cares about wellness, first-time parents watching the budget. Each profile is built from published research such as surveys, category studies and reviews.
You show them your idea. Each one reacts in its own words, and an analyst layer turns those reactions into a plain verdict. It isn’t a chatbot pretending to be a person. It’s a structured test with a score and a written reason behind every judgement.
- 01Bring the thing you're deciding on.Paste a concept, upload a pack shot or an ad, or add a landing page. Pick the audiences that matter.
- 02Each audience reacts.Ads get a one-second glance first, the way people really scroll, then a considered look. That stops the test being unrealistically generous.
- 03You get a read, not a pile of transcripts.A verdict, where audiences split and why, the riskiest assumption, and two or three specific things to test next.
- 04Ask why.Question any audience about its reaction, then change the idea and run it again.
What it is, and what it isn’t
Good for
- Screening ideas before you spend on any of them
- Catching the obvious problem early
- Finding where audiences disagree, and why
- Deciding which idea has earned a proper study
Not a replacement for
- A representative survey or a market sizing
- A sales forecast
- Real people, on your highest-stakes decisions
Does the research make a difference?
We compared our research-built profiles with a competent prompt a planner could write in ten minutes, asking both the same questions.
Internal testing, September 2026, about 190 model calls. This shows the research changes and diversifies the answers. It doesn’t show they match real people: we haven’t yet benchmarked against real survey responses, and we say so. Category depth is uneven, strongest in food and drink, and every read states how much relevant evidence its audiences had.
